We need to talk about Others
My research about "Otherness" and its role in construction of social hierarchies is reflected in this project. The book focuses on the foundation of "Otherness", its role as a survival mechanism, a structure of identity building and its potential tragic circumstances followed by a case study. The case study is an exploration of conditions when the otherness is imposed on a society by totalitarian authorities.
Commissioned by Museum Meermanno, the book was displayed in combination with printed canvases and an interactive multimedia installation.

Unravelling the Manipulated Reality
The research is focuses on the methods of information manipulation and explores "propaganda" as a widely practiced mechanism for misguiding the public opinion. Second chapter, reviews the work of designers and artists who have challenged propaganda in the last decade. The last chapter includes my research about the way metaphor and ambiguity can bypass the complications caused by manipulation.
